Q: Do I need a referral from a doctor to see you?
No you don’t need a referral to see us but you may need a Doctor referral to be reimbursed by your extended health benefits. Please check with your insurance company ahead.
Q: Are you Registered Massage Therapists? Can you write me a receipt?
Yes, we are registered massage therapists. We have a billing number, which we will write on your receipt to get reimbursed for your massage session.
Q: Will my extended Health care plan cover my massage? For how many sessions and how long?
All insurance Providers are different; almost all will cover Registered Massage Therapy up to a certain amount. Most cover up to $500, but some are unlimited. Remember that most insurance will run till Dec 31, and any unused portion won’t be carried over to the new cycle.
Q: What kind of oil do you use?
We use either Almond oil, coconut oil, or light mineral oil. We may add a scent like lavender for aromatherapy.
Q: Is massage therapy safe during pregnancy?
Yes! We treat many women during pregnancy. We have special bolsters that allow you to lay on your back or even face down during massage.
Q: What should I expect during my first massage therapy visit?
Your massage therapist will ask you to fill out an initial patient intake form. Afterwards the therapist will lead you to the massage room and the session starts with conducting a 5-10 min interview to determine the main areas of concern, your goal for today’s visit, any underlying medical condition, and to determine if massage is appropriate for you.
This will be followed certain assessment techniques to evaluate your condition and extent of the injury. At the end of your massage session, you will be taught some home care plans that best suit your needs.and a treatment plan for you.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24hr cancellation policy, but we do understand when things out of your controll happen. So if you must cancell, just call us, we’ll understand.

We accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard, Cash, and Cheque.
